0. Setting Up Your Education Account

The video below is a walkthrough of starting creating a Figma account, and verifying for an education account.

Instructions:

1. Go to figma.com and create an account using your Baruch/school email

1. Verify your email using the verification link from the email you’ll receive after registering.

1. Answer the questions to complete your account creation

   

2. Go to https://www.figma.com/education/apply to get verified for an education account, make sure you are logged in to your account

   

3. Answer the questions and upload the necessary file to verify your status as a student.

4. After you complete the questions you will be notified that you’re education account has been made.

   

5. Click Go to Figma, where you’ll be directed to pick a team for your education account. Pick the autogenerated team, or create a new team if you’d like.

   

   1. After that, just click agree to terms, and complete upgrade and your education account will be good to go!
